Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Xpensiv handles information when you use Xpensiv.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and sign-in details. If you choose Google or GitHub sign-in, the provider may share account details such as your name and avatar.
- Submitted pages: the public web addresses you ask us to check, the page content needed for a check, browser screenshots, and the findings produced by that check.
- Service and security information: API-key hashes, sign-in and connection state, and service logs used to operate and protect Xpensiv.
How we use information
We use information to sign you in, run checks you request, show your results, make a result available through a public share link when you choose to create one, protect the service, and investigate problems. We do not sell personal information.
Public share links
Anyone with a public share link may be able to view its report and screenshots. Only create or share a link if you are comfortable making that information available to people who have the link.
Storage and deletion
We keep account information and check results while they are needed to provide the service and make your history available. You may ask Xpensiv to delete your account and related check information. Copies in backups may remain for a limited time before they are replaced.
Sign-in providers
If you use Google or GitHub to sign in, that provider handles your authentication under its own privacy terms. Xpensiv does not receive your Google or GitHub password.
